About the role

The People Operations manager works closely with the Senior People Manager to deliver on key deliverables within the HR function at Dogpatch Labs. The role will initially be responsible for actioning on talent acquisition and recruitment, overseeing the full recruitment life-cycle.


Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

  • Management of Talent Sourcing, CRM Management and Talent Strategy
  • Create and manage the talent pipeline
  • Posting job advertisements
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews
  • Ensuring internal recruitment processes are adhered to, including fairness and transparency through shortlisting
  • Administration of all recruitment correspondence
  • Coordinating and communicating start dates
  • Completion of candidate reference checks
  • Manage new hire onboarding process, including offers, paperwork, delivery of induction and administrative set-up
  • Data Gathering, Tools & Data analysis

HR Administration

  • Maintenance of HR Trackers eg. Annual Leave
  • Support the development and updating of Company HR policies and procedures
  • Maintaining and updating personnel records
  • Miscellaneous administration as required (Employment Permits, Benefits)
  • Preparing employee letters as required
  • Contract preparation/drafting
  • Annual review preparation & administration
  • Support digitisation of the HR function

Performance Management

  • Support in building more structure around performance
  • Gather and analyse performance data
  • Organise manager training on best practices in performance management

Learning and Development

  • Build and execute a training needs assessment
  • Collect and maintain data on the company's L&D activities
  • Ensure all required training is up-to-date (Manual Handling)


  • Support in the coordination and implementation of the social calendar for the team
  • Support the Senior People Manager in building the employer's brand
  • Logistics & Planning for Company All Hands, Town Halls and Team Offsites
  • Organise employee gifts as required

Experience & Skill Sets

  • Knowledge of the full employee life cycle is a must (Talent Sourcing, Talent Strategy, Interview Planning, Logistics, Recruitment Software and CRM Management)
  • Knowledge and experience with an ATS
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in Talent & Recruitment
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Excellent planning, organising and coordinating skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, high level of energy and a positive can-do attitude
  • HR qualification & CIPD desirable
